CRYSTAL OF THE WEEK // Malachite

Humanity prefers life to follow the direct path, A leads to B leads to C and so forth. We like our lessons to be predictable and linear, no surprises, please! The universe, however, doesn’t move that way. Its paths are always ebbing and flowing, swirling in and around, pulsing with movement. 

How can we break free from our need for direction to follow the straight and narrow? Malachite swirls in, reminding us that we are always co-creating with the universe. It encourages us to release control and surrender, trusting that while we may not see our destination up ahead there is no doubt we will arrive. 

Tap into this lesson by working with Malachite during meditation. Lay down with a piece placed on the third eye, the heart, or the solar plexus and envision yourself sharing creative control with the universe. Remember that it’s ok to not see the whole picture, knowing that it will unfold greater than you could have ever imagined.
